Your Meeting is next week! Still not to late for Audience Response

Filed under: Interactive Audience Systems - Audience Response Exper

I am at an actual event right now at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and while having lunch i am typing this blog entry during the break.  The experience from this weeks Audience Response event has been a wordy one to mention.  For example, we showed up at the event and the client still had no idea what questions he wanted to ask but he knew he wanted it to be an option or a tool available to empower each one of his speakers.  The client had a line up of executive speakers and presenters and each were given the option to sit with us and formulate any question before their rehearsals which would assist their presentation.  We had a lot of fun and the speakers felt empowered.

Some of the executive speakers were so dynamic, adding the ARS option made them even more exited. What is really interesting is the flexibility actually made the production manager of the program look really really good too!

Another thing to note is most of the executives knew how to use it already and how to direct the audience for maximum participation and the ones which had not use it before were coached by the program manager and they had a great time as well.

Are you a speaker, presenter or an executive with something to say?

So, what are you waiting for!   Call your Audience Response Systems Provider Today!

Your next meeting is coming fast and you have been really busy and had not that much time to dedicate to the planning of your next meeting or perhaps you know your meeting is coming but you have nothing really to be exited about.  It’s the meeting going to be like the last meeting again?

“How can you keep your audience interested?” you ask yourself and do you have to trow heaps of money at it to make sure it is a success.  Will you be able to measure the performance of your meeting to make some adjustments for next time?

Relax!   let’s begin here.  Can technology help you achieve all of the above questions?  Yes!

Audience Response is the key to your success, in fact your manager or board of directors may even give you a raise because of its proven track record.  With audience response you can give them tangible reports of how your audience is responding to your presentations.

Think about it this way, lets say you have a room full of Physicians, how can you harvest what is in their brains all at once?  well, it is simple ask them a series of questions which you formulate a head of time and collect that valuable data….       all 700 of them can give you the answer to what ever your topic of interest is.  It is that simple.

Oh, one more thing; it does not matter what the size of your audience is, it can be as small as a few in a meeting all the way to thousands.  With the audience response system everyone can join the fun!  Even the presenter.

Audience Response Polling Makes Communication Flow Like Never Before

Filed under: Interactive Audience Systems - Audience Response Expert

The problem with a lot of business meetings and other large gatherings is that communication is almost never a two-way street. The speaker speaks. The audience listens. Nothing ever really gets accomplished. Interactive audience polling can change the face of business meetings.

Interactive audience polling in the high-tech world involves the use of small keypads that enable a more thorough process for exchange of information. When these devices are used, everyone in the meeting or even an entire conference can have their opinions heard and seen by the speakers. The end results is a dialog that flows between speakers and the audiences.

The benefits of interactive audience polling extend to many variety of uses. The technology is as ideal for schools to use as it is for many businesses that need input from a large or small number of employees. With instant polling and fast results, the messages delivered can be heard loud and clear rather quickly, too.

In addition to ensuring that voices are heard, interactive audience polling delivers many major benefits. This type of communication tool also helps ensure that audience participation goes into a meeting or conference. It also serves to better engage the audience by ensuring that listeners know they are also valued “speakers.”

Interactive audience polling makes communication flow much more smoothly. It is particularly useful in areas where opinions really count, but hearing them all might be impossible. The Audience Reponse technology enables businesses and organizations to break out of the mold and make sure that audiences are engaged and input is taken from all present.

Meetings will never be the same now that you can tap to such wealth of information in just a few sessions.

Should you add more jokes at your next meeting?

Time is coming to a close, you know the day of your presentation is coming up quickly, you know you have the perfect subject, you have everything in order, but you still know you need help keeping your audience engaged and you wonder, “Maybe I should add more jokes to keep the audience awake and interested?”

You have heard of the Audience Response Systems but you just don’t know if it would be worth the investment or you do not know if even it would be a distraction. Lets face it, when deciding whether or not to incorporate Audience Response systems into your meeting, there are several factors that come into play; in a recent poll of corporate meetings planners, over 40% percent felt that over 50% of meetings were a waste of time because the message was not getting through.  Let us take a closer look at this: Say your meeting costs over $300,000, but at the end of the day little if any information has been retained by the attendees; that company’s investment has in essence been wasted.  Now let us imagine a different scenario, one that incorporates cutting edge Audience Response Technology into the same $300,000 meeting—now the attendees are engaged on a frequent basis, asked questions that relate to the presentations and are active and excited in the process…… At the end of this polling, 90% of the meeting planners said that they will use Audience Response systems at their future meetings.  So the conclusion is don’t let cost be an inhibiting factor.

And now, You can relax and take a few days off!

Audience Response Systems Technology in the Classroom

In the following video as stated in the YouTube Channel “Few psychology students fall asleep in class — that is, when they study sleep cycles, dreaming and sleep deprivation using a radio frequency audience response system. With remote control units, “clickers,” students learn interactively about each other’s sleep habits and philsophies and also see how they respond collectively to questions about sleep. Software assists in immediately summarizing and displaying responses.”

Educators are beginning to understand the advantage of the audience response system in the classroom
